Dana White, who was paying close attention to her at the time, signed her into the UFC strawweight division for the month of December in 2014. Rose had recently turned 22. The career of Rose has been full of highs as well as lows but she's always capable of coming out of her fights with a win. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in less than three minutes in the round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and was a pioneer in the sport as it marked the first time a women had ever competed in a tournament in a major promotional organization all over the world. After this win, Namajunas was able to have a number of other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
