Williams was first raised by her father, who was a Brooklyn firefighter, and then her mother (who lived in Tribeca Manhattan) after the split of her parents at she was a young girl. The junior high school she attended was within Chinatown New York high school located in Chelsea as well as Nazareth College in Rochester NY.
