Williams was brought up by her father, who worked as a firefighter in Queens and Brooklyn as well as by her mother living in Tribeca Manhattan after her parents divorced when she was young. Williams was a student at Chinatown New York High School in Chelsea along with Nazareth College, Rochester NY.
