Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The character was reprised in Sex and the City 2 Sex and the City films (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2009). The films also include Porky's and Porky's in 1980 and her role in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. Kim Cattrall is most often connected to her iconic HBO sitcom Sex & the City, in which she portrayed Samantha Jones. Cattrall, a noted actor, has acknowledged her portrayal of Samantha Jones as a career-defining character. The sitcom did not just increase her popularity amongst the national viewers, but also helped make her an international star giving the actress a lot of fame and respect. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She is mostly known for her performance in the comedy-drama movie La Dolce Vita. The film received an Oscar as well as received the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival in 1960. The film was also commercially and critically successful. Before becoming an actor, the model born in Skane worked in fashion. In the end, she won the Miss Sweden Contest. As she moved to the US and appeared in numerous films as a small part, her career took off. In the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was recognized as an Venusian. In the following year, her performance in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising newcomer.
