Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956 is a British Canadian actress from Canada. Best known for the character as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. The role was reprised by her on Sex and the City 2: Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. She was also known as the lead actress in Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. Kim Cattrall is most often associated with her popular HBO show, Sex & the City, in which she portrayed Samantha Jones. Cattrall is an established actress who's role as Samantha Jones in the popular TV show Sex & The City was a turning moment for her career. The sitcom helped make Cattrall an international star, not only among viewers in the area and internationally. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She is most well-known for her role in the dramatic comedy La Dolce Vita. The film won an Oscar and the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival of 1960. The film was also commercially and critically successful. The beginning of her acting career came when she became a fashion designer in Skane. She was later crowned her first Miss Sweden contest. Following her move to the US she started acting in various films, playing small characters. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was described as the role of a Venusian. Then, shortly after, her role as a bloody woman in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising young actor.
