Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956 is a British Canadian actress. Best known for the character of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Award nominations and the four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the most outstanding supporting actress. The role was reprised by her on the Sex and the City (2008 as well as Sex and the City 2) (2010) films.
